ELA: In Spelling we are learning to spell words with syllable patterns VCCV. In Reading we will be continuing to focus on reading comprehension from now until the end of the year. In our text, we will be focusing on understanding persuasive text and author’s purpose. In grammar we will be learning reflexive pronouns. Our weekly Spelling and unit test will both be on Friday.

MATH: . We are continuing our unit on strategies for 3-digit addition.

SCIENCE: We are continuing our unit on energy, force, and motion.

SOCIAL STUDIES: We will continue learning about why people produce and consume goods.

In our text, we will be focusing on text structure and vocabulary in text. In grammar we will be reviewing pronouns. Our weekly Spelling and unit test will both be on Friday.
