THIS WEEK IN….
ELA: In Spelling we are learning to spell words with closed syllables VC/V. In Reading we will be continuing to focus on reading comprehension from now until the end of the year. Our text this week will be a biography. We will be going over text structure and reviewing asking and answering questions as we read. In grammar we will be reviewing adjectives and adverbs. Our spelling and weekly unit test will both be on Friday.
MATH: We are finishing our unit on time and money. We will be reviewing Monday and Tuesday and will have our unit test on Wednesday. We will begin a new unit on numbers up to 1,000 on Thursday.
SCIENCE: We will be beginning our unit on energy, force, and motion.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We will be learning about why people produce and consume goods. We will have our test on Thursday or Friday.
HOMEWORK
